Two Microphones

Hello everyone, I’ve been trying to figure this out and I’m having trouble. I have watched YouTube videos on how to do it and I’ve gotten as far as I can go and I’m lost.

I have both microphones setup in their separate tracks, both are only recording to their own track, but only my Mic in track one is recording. I know the second mic works because for tried in other things such as Camo. Any suggestions?

Check the recording in VLC media player and make sure to check the audio -> audio tracks menu to make sure the tracks are there.

Both tracks are there, both microphones work. When I record as an mpv it only records whichever track I select, it doesn’t let me choose multiple. When I record as an mp4 it lets me select multiple tracks but only records on track 1.

MKV will absolutely let you record multiple different audio tracks.

If the mics are only recording on track one, then your advanced audio properties in the edit menu is misconfigured.

As others have pointed out previously in this forum... beware
1. assuming your favorite media player and your method of/settings for multi-track audio Recording is compatible
2. assuming Track is NOT being recorded... many default 'players' will ONLY play track #1. It is common to need to use a more sophisticated application to actually play/listen to other tracks (confirm their presence, etc).
