Question / Help Two computers as sources for audio, video...

Hey everyone!

This is my 1st time here, I want to try to stream and my idea is taking the webcam source and audio source from my MacBook and then the gaming source from the PC.

In the watcher screen will appear, then, the game, me at the webcam and he'll be able to listen to me. Is that possible?

I haven't seen a guide about this. Could you link me some articles, guides... where this is explained?

It is possible, but usually you will have a huge delay. For audio its simple - analog connection from your macbook to your pc.
Webcam - that will be a problem, specially if the webcam is showing you (so you have to sync up the lips).
Why would you use that setup? There is no benefit of splitting these tasks on 2 systems.

Mainly, if I can take the webcam and the mic from the MackBook to the PC, I don't have to buy a webcam or a mic :P

I guess you just recommend buying the cam, the mic and taking all the sources (game itself, webcam with me and my voice) from the same computer, right?

I've just realized I have got a micro, but not a webcam. I've read about the Logitech C920 (top seller in Amazon Spain). Which one do you have?
 
The c920 is a really popular webcam, one of the best for streaming. If you have not enough money to throw at the webcam, get the c270 - lower resolution but the video quality is good, only in fullscreen you will notice the difference.
And the mic - thats where you have to spend some cash to get a good one, starting from like 70$ for a Samson Meteor to 200$ for the top USB microphones (condenser, large membrane), anything over 200$ is overkill and should be used if really needed.

I've already ordered my C920S. I prefer to do a higher spend than having to buy after a better cam.

About the mic, I've a $40 one. I have to see how it works. If doesn't make a good performance, I'll follow the tips from Cryonic.
