Okay, this is a stretch, but I'm just really looking to see if anyone else has this problem.
I used to use XSplit to stream stuff and would use Twitchtv's YouTube uploader to put the highlights from my channel on YouTube.
I've since started using OBS cause it blows XSplit out of the water (Great job guys!).
I did a playthrough on my channel and was just going to follow standard procedure; Upload the highlights to YouTube directly from Twitch.
However now the sound is completely out of sync when my upload finishes, a problem I've never encountered before.
"Bro, this doesn't sound like an OBS issue, it sounds like TwitchTV or YouTube."
I thought so too, but the sound is fine while the stream is live, and my archives on TwitchTV are perfectly in sync. I've been talking to TwitchTV support and they've been very helpful, talking to their video guys, it's not on their end. It doesn't seem to be YouTube either since uploads directly from my computer are working fine, as well.
So I did a test. I set up XSplit EXACTLY how I've been using OBS and ran a stream. When I was done I highlighted and uploaded to YouTube. The sound is perfectly in sync.
It may be a completely unrelated fluke, but I suppose why not check here and see if anyone else is having this problem. Does anyone else have audio/video sync issues when uploading a TwitchTV archive to YouTube after using OBS to stream?
Even if it is completely unrelated to OBS, if anyone could shed some light on this issue, it'd be much appreciated.
Thank you!
