Question / Help twitch.tv viewer count overlay?

Is there any way other than a window capture to get the number of viewers onto the stream. I'm using the twitch chat plugins and it works amazing for chat overlay, but I want to add the number of viewers to the stream also. I don't like window capture as most of the time, if I play a game full screen, the window capture overlay doesn't update.

To get a window to update when it is not focused, ensure you have Aero enabled, are using window capture, and that the window is NOT MINIMIZED. It can be behind another window, but it cannot be minimized or the OS stops updating it (to save on resource utilization).

But yeah, Dashboard Lite is a decent tracking method. I'd advise against focusing on viewercount though; it has a tendency to make your viewers feel unimportant, when they've not only been reduced to a number... but only a single point on your 'score', so to speak.
