When I start streaming with through OBS with my Elgato Game Capture HD, it freezes about 5 seconds into the stream and will not recover itself. It doesnt even stutter, its just frozen until I exit it out. I have no idea why. Ive looked up plenty of youtube videos in search for help but nothing would help me. I can stream perfect 720p with no lag or buffer what so ever if I stream directly from my elgato but I would like to add a overlay to better my stream. I understand that the new software for elgato (elgato 2.0) has a feature to add an overlay but that still lags. Again, I can stream perfectly 720p from my Elgato using the elgato 1.0 software.
