i need some help. when i use OBS to stream a game, i can see in OBS that everything is running smoothly. when i look at the twitch stream, everything is like 1 frame a minute. (facecam, game etc.) Im not quite sure why this is so. When i record a video with everything in use and i rewatch it, the video is also perfectly fine. is this an issue with twitch or me?

Can't tell you without more information. Try again for at least five minutes of high action gameplay, then post the OBS log file from that session.

No wonder. You are using local-recording-only settings while trying to livestream. DON'T use a zero-buffer.

Also, don't stream over wifi. It's not meant for high-throughput, constant rate transfers. Run a cable.

BTW, would i have to disable local recording, or is that impossible?

No worries! Everyone starts out at square one. :)

If you want to stream and record at different rates, you'll need to use OBS Studio. Classic just gives you the option to spool off a copy of what's being sent out to the stream, but onto the local disk. So you'll get a copy of exactly what your livestream viewers will see. If you plan to edit your video afterward to put up high quality versions on YouTube later, switching to the Studio branch could be a good idea.
