Bug Report Twitch Alerts Freezing - OBS Freezing - Cant navigate file system

Had several issues tonight with OBS and is normally runs smoothly so I dunno whats going on and what to do about it.

First issue was it completely froze, froze so bad that I literally had to reboot cause killing the process in taskmanager and in cmd would just give me errors. It would not close. I feel like the issue may have been related to Elgato HD60 Pro cature card cause it happened when I turned on my xbox but I am unsure as of now.

Secondly (this happened 3 times) the twitch alerts would freeze so the gifs would not play they would even freeze on the stream itself. Had to restart stream each time to fix.

Lastly I noticed a issue when i tried to add a image to overlay something so the chat couldnt see it the file system was screwed up in open to where the folder structure on the left would not load and all the icons for all the files were a black square.

We had so many tech issues tonight I felt the need to come here in hopes of finding out what in the world is going on with it. Any help is appreciated.

This is the Elgato driver, sounds like it crashed and deadlocked your system.

this is a fresh install of Windows, Elgato, and OBS. Given I have the most uptodate drivers any idea what to do about it? I mean that may have been the one issue but what about the Twitch Alerts locking up twice?

I agree it most likely was the Elgato for the hard crash cause I accidently turned on my xbox and boom it crashed however the other events happened at random times.
