Hey everyone.
So I downloaded OBS Studio this morning, learned of Twitch Alerts, and went from there. I went to the OBS download page and retrieved the latest release of Browser Source for transparency purposes. Really all I want to use it for is follower alerts.
After I got it all set up and loaded the sound and gif that I wanted, I saved it, did a test using the Browser source by putting the link in the text box and everything, and it worked. So, I decided I wanted to see if someone could actually follow me. My brother had his Twitch account up, so as I was streaming, I followed myself while watching my stream from my brother's computer.
Of course there was delay, but even when it got up to the point where I had stopped and left the room to test from my brothers PC, nothing happened. I never got an alert AT ALL. No audio, gif, text, or anything showed up on my OBS or on my stream at all.
So if you guys would be willing to help me with this (hopefully minor) issue, that would be fantastic.
