I have this weird problem with my microphone (Blue Yeti)
I plug it in and out every time I stream because (a) I don't want a microphone plugged in for non-streaming times and (b) it has a bright red light on that it emits whenever it's plugged in.
This works fine as long as I plug it in before I turn on OBS. However, if I turn on OBS before I plug in my microphone, OBS can't recognize the mic as an audio device. In fact, something in my system seems to lock up any chance of understanding it because restarting OBS doesn't do the trick either.
If I start OBS before I have the mic plugged in, Windows itself won't recognize it as a microphone at any point thereafter. The only way to get it to work again is to restart the machine altogether and try again in the right order.
This feels like, at worst, it needs to flush a cache or config somewhere, not require a full restart. Anyone recognize this?
Windows 7, Blue Yeti, OBS v0.695b
