Turning off my remote desktop while running OBS.

Hey, so i've been running OBS on my VPS for 24/7 live streaming which is working fine. The stream runs constantly while I have the remote desktop running in the background on my pcs, but obviously as its a 24/7 stream, i'd like to shut down my PC to save power.

When i close down my remote desktop session using the 'x' to disconnect, it still runs fine, until I power off the PC that opened the remote desktop app, then the stream freezes at the point I turned my PC off, is there any way around this?

OBS is not designed for automated 24/7 use. You'd do well to look into 'video jukebox' RTMP servers like Red5.
You'd need to look into how to maintain running processes on an RDP session, which is outside the scope of these forums.
