I reinstalled my windows and downloaded my sound drivers, everything sounds normal on my stream except for when people talk on teamspeak. Before I had windows 7 and everything worked perfectly on my stream, I upgraded to windows 10 and now I have this issue.

People sound tunneled or distant and it's when they talk on teamspeak.. everything else sounds normal.

If you record to disk instead of streaming it, how does it sound on the playback?

Other sounds sound normal, just teamspeak has the tunnel-sound?

everything else sounds normal.. when i stream or record, only people who talk on TS sound off.. Its ever since I formated my PC and upgraded to windows 10.. im starting to think maybe a driver or something is missing, but everything sounds normal to me, it just on the recording or livestream broadcast that you can hear the distant / tunnel sound..

set TS3 audio device to default - if it is on default choose your speakers/main-audio -> if that works set it back to default
looks like TS3 having an old IID in settings

all set to default.. still the same echoy sound..
set to my headset still the same.

I have no idea what it might be, it's ever since I upgraded my windows

The problem is with my headset, my headset is surround sound and this problem only occours with my headset. I recorded my desktop audio with my speakers and it recorded just fine, the problem is when I have to use the headset.. The problem is only with teamspeak, and there is no way of turning off surround sound and putting on stereo with this headset software.. and getting a recording desktop audio software is out of the question cause the playback and capture device have to be the same both on OBS and teamspeak.. if I change it on TS then I cannot hear them..

get a new mic and microphone I guess then?

sounds strange - try to set your headset to stereo 2.0 in "audio devices"
yeah there is no option for that, only 7.1 surround sound.

I fixed it by installing voice meeter, set my hardware input to my headset microphone (Logitech G35) and hardware output to headset speakers (Logitech G35) .. the playback on teamspeak is voicemeeter aux input and capture is my headset microphone..

Surround sound is a gone, I think its only stereo. Sounds a bit weird now but at least it fixed it.. Ordered a new headset, Im thinking the issue is because they changed the software for my headset. Before my windows installation I had a an old software for my headset, and it used to work. Its only after getting new windows and the new software that this issue occurred. Hopefully my new headset (Astro A40) wont have this stupid problem :D

This may come a little late, but I was experiencing the same issue of tunnel sound with the G35 Headset and OBS, the way I solved it is to disable the Dolby Surround with the switch that is on the back of the left earpiece, its a small switch that can be moved up to disable, and down to enable. In my experience the switch only worked if the Logitech gaming software recognized the headset and displayed the status of the switch, in the attached picture it looks grayed out signaling it is disabled.
