Hi to everyone that's clicked in to read. I'm new - as many are - when we hit a brick wall of a problem - and then try and find some helpful forum people to see if we've made some obvious mistake as an OBS newbie. So do treat me gently - and hopefully your expertise might point me in the right direction. Lots of internet searching and trying different paramaters hasn't worked yet - so just hope someone will be kind enough to have a scan through what I've done to see where I might have gone wrong. I'm going to put as much relevant info into the post as I can - so please forgive me if I've waffled too much.
I have OBS Studio 64 v27.1.1 on a relatively modern spec Windows 10 pro PC connected via a LAN socket on a fairly new (but basic) Plusnet router - and I've got my head around how to use it, and have successfully live streamed to you-tube. So really like the software and what it can do.
When I try to 'autodiscover' my OBS session on my Iphone X through OBS Blade in order to control streaming via my phone - I get a message 'Could not find an open OBS session in your local network......' - I've also tried manual connections and get the same message.
I've tried adjusting various parameters in the OBS websocket - with or without authentication - with or without ipv4 lock - and always get the same message.
Having read the FAQ in the app - I can confirm that:
So from what I've posted so far - any ideas where I could be going wrong? I have a feeling there's something in terms of port forwarding that might be the issue - and this is where I might need a few pointers if anyone agrees - but if it's something else will also be very glad to hear any ideas to try.

Having read the FAQ in the app - I can confirm that:
- The Iphone is connected to the same broadband network (tried both 2.4 and 5ghz in case it made a difference)
- The desktop is connected via LAN cable
- The IP address of the phone and the pc are in the same range with only the last digits different
- OBS Websocket appears in the log file (see attached) - so I can see it's active
- Using 'Portforward Network Utilities' I can see port 4444 is being used by OBS
- I have a rubbish Plusnet standard router - which although has port forwarding - OBS isn't on the list of things to forward (So this has confused me somewhat)
- Everything has only just been downloaded this week - so I believe I'm on the latest version of everything
- When I run a web based general test to see if port 4444 is open - I get the response that it's not
- I've enabled OBS blade in ios privacy
