So because I live in China, Twitch.tv is blocked, but I was able to access it by editing my host file, but my issue now, is that apps like OBS can't connect to Twitch. When I hit start streaming, the button is grayed out for a few seconds, before returning with "Failed to connect to server" "The connection timed out. Make sure you've configured a valid streaming service and no firewall is blocking the connection", but I can instantly open Twitch in my browser, and can use CMD to ping Twitch. So is there a way around this? I'm gonna keep troubleshooting, though I just wanted to ask on the forums to see if anyone has a solution. And just in case anyone wants to know, I'm on the newest version of OBS
