Question / Help Trying to save multiple profiles for scenes

Hello,
i want to save various profiles for different games i use. Because depending on the game i have different overlays & backgrounds.

There is only a "save" button but no "save as..." or something. And it seems it only saves the settings for resolution, and livekey etc. but always all scenes.

Is there no option to save profiles like "starcraft 2" or "cs go", "lol", "dota" etc... ? Maybe i just cant find it. I have already so many scenes in my OBS. Do i just dont see this option or is it not there?

kind regards, Michael

Currently this option doesn't exist. However, you can make copies of you scene layout by copying the scenes.xconfig file in your %appdata%/OBS directory. It's not ideal, but it's what's available for the time being.

I asked the same question, and dodgepong gave me the same answer. What I done for one scene was set it up. The made a copy of that scenes.xconfig file and gave it another name. The good thing is, you can copy/paste from one to the other.
You have main scenes.xconfig that loads every time...you have another scene named scenes_lol.xconfig for example. You make changes in the obs project that will go into scenes file. I just open up my scenes file...do select all, then edit/copy...now open up scenes_lol and again edit/select all..then hit the delete key, then use control+V keys and paste from original scene...now I have 2 scenes exactly the same...think of it as having a backup as well. Now you can do this for as many scenes as you want, giving each it's own name. Now which ever scene you want to load..open that scene file, and again do edit select all and copy the entire contents...now open the main scenes.xconfig file, edit, select all, delete, then control+v..or edit/paste...now when you start obs, you will have the scene you want.

This may sound like a lot of run araound..but to copy paste from one to the other normally takes me less than 30 seconds.
