Question / Help Trying to reduce broadcast delay

Hey guys I have no problem streaming gameplay both with offline and online games decent 720p 30 FPS quality, however the only issue I have is the delay. Yes I know that there will be always delay because the footage is being encoded to twitch and all that jazz, but I feel that 17-20 seconds of delay is pretty bad.

I use a CBR of 1800, and have CPU usage set to Super Fast

I've tested my upload speed multiple times on both speedtest.net and testmy.net and it's been telling me consistently that I get 10-11 for my upload speed.

As for my computer specs I have:

6.00 GB RAM
Intel Core i7-4510U CPU @ 2.60 GHz
The GPU is intergrated

Sorry if this is cluttered, just tell me any information that you guys need to assist and I will provide it.

95%+ of the delay is on Twitches side, and there is nothing you can do about it. With an insane ping and no buffer time at all, you still are looking at a ~15+ second delay with Twitch.

Your encoding setting makes almost no difference (It basically refers to how many clock cycles will be dedicated to encoding the stream, a difference measured in milliseconds to us)

Thank you for the quick response! I just don't get why other people I know using OBS seem to have more reasonable delay than me.
