Question / Help Trying to get the best sreaming quality from what I have!

As the title says trying to get the best from what i have. Here are my specs


GPU: Nividia Geforce GTX 680 4gb
8 gigs of ram
Windows 7 64bit
AMD FX 6100 Six Core processor 3.31GHZ

I think the settings depend on what type of game you are playing. I stream mostly FPS using a capture card, with similar specs as you.
Here are the settings I use:

• fps - 59
• resolution - 1280 x 720
• preset - veryfast
• profile - main
• cbr - yes
• cfr - yes
• max bitrate - 3000
• buffer size - 3000
• audio bitrate - 112

I mean would you recommend a capture card? It recommends that i use about 25 fps which is surprising and a bit rate of 3500

just feel like my computer is a bit better graphical wise maybe not internet wise.

I'm only using a cap card because I play console games like CoD. I think the fps is based partially on gametype and partially on what resolution you're outputting.
As far as internet, yours is twice as fast as mine :) but maybe you have an old router? Also, you may want to think about lowering bitrate. As I understand it, lowering that would allow more people (with worse internet) to enjoy your stream.
What settings do you currently use? What do you not like about the way your stream runs/looks?

Well im currently trying to stream titanfall because I feel like if i can stream that then I can probably stream anything but my settings are basically yours but i use 30 fps but the game just looks very well blurry

I see. What is your base resolution? and are you downscaling the resolution at all?

my base resolution is 1920 by 1080 and yes down scaling it to 1280 by 780

Try to use the Lanczos filter with the resolution downscale. Also maybe try going to 25 fps or lowering bitrate to 2500.
Some of the other threads I was reading through posted this to test internet speed http://testmy.net/
I found that mine was much lower than I thought and have adjusted my bitrate accordingly.

[EDIT]: Also, are you using window capture or monitor capture? From what I have read, monitor capture is probably not a good idea.

Ok. Did the Lanczos filter, lowering fps, or bitrate improve the bluryness at all?

not really i mean i just did a run at 50 fps tbh

I would stick to 720p30fps, veryfast @3000 bitrate as that's probably the best looking settings for your system. Changing to superfast and then raising the FPS is going to make things look worse.

alright not an issue would you recommend i keep the resolution down scaled? And keep with lanzcos?

Yep, raising the resolution is just going to put more stress on your system. Lanczos vs Bicubic vs Bilinear is all about preference really.

So i suppose my biggest issue would just be my cpu isn't to great and alright i am just going to guess my cpu is the issue or titanfall? I mean i thought due to not being partnered with twitch it limits how far i can go resolution wise.
