I'm using a Zoom Q8 as a webcam to livestream a concert. I've managed to get everything working including having excellent audio quality, but I'm not getting great video quality. I just downloaded OBS to the computer I'm streaming through (2017 MacBook Pro running Mojave 10.14.6, 3.1 GHz Intel i5, 8GB MHz LPDDR3, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MB) the other day and I got the audio driver to be able to use the attached XY mic as well as hooking up a mixer. But connecting the camera to the OBS isn't giving me more than 720p when I can record directly to the camera at 3M. So I'm asking about how to get OBS to pick up the full quality of the camera, because it looks grainy before I even try to start streaming. I've attached a screenshot of how the video quality is (the exit sign is not broken in anyway and is maybe 15ft away) as well as the drop down menu where the highest resolution option it gives me when I'm adding the video capture device is 720p. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
