Hello. I'm new to OBS, and how everything works for streaming. I was trying to hook my PS2 up to my laptop, and I got everything to work, but once the, "Sony Computer Entertainment America Presents," screen comes on and disappears, the game doesn't show up. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

This is almost definitely an issue with your capture device. The PS2 can send a variety of different resolutions, and if the cap device does not support the signal being sent, it will be unable to capture. Normally it should pop up a 'signal out of range' error or similar, but cheap ones will just blackscreen much of the time. Some also do not handle switching to another resolution once capture has been started.
If you're using one of those cheap 'ps2 to hdmi' things, I'd also recommend plugging it into a TV, or an HDMI splitter to make sure the adapter is working correctly and actually sending a signal after the assumed resolution change.
