Question / Help trouble with audio and mic sync with video

First off, love all the options OBS has for streaming. My problem is, I recently bought an elgato gaming capture HD, and I started streaming older game consoles. I will test the mic and audio to be in sync on twitch by raising the offset for the mic in audio settings in OBS till it matches what I am doing in the game, like I would say jump when I jump in the game. All worked fine. Then after say 30 mins or so people on my twitch stream are telling me the sound and mic do not match the game footage anymore.

I am really sad about this, cause I finally got my Sega Genesis to be in color and able to stream. Should I return the Elgato and try a different capture device? Or do all capture devices have this issue.

Here is my Log

This is semi-normal for USB 2.0 devices because they're encoded -- they have an inherent delay, and that delay can gradually change. It also may partly be an issue with the current version of OBS in combination with that as well due to the way the current version handles those devices (which will be accounted for in the rewrite later on)

If you do happen to get another capture device, make sure it's not a USB 2.0 device. You should never use USB 2.0 capture devices for desktop PC streaming -- always internal devices. Internal devices have almost no actual delay and don't require buffering.

Yea, I have been doing a lot of research on 2.0 being trouble. I narrowed it down to either, the black magic intensity shuttle usb 3.0, XCapture-1 or an internal card. WIll the 3.0 have the same quality as an internal? The XCapture-1 looks great, the price is steep though, and since it is from Japan, if for whatever reason it can't work with my PC (Dell 8300 Desktop) will I be able to return it?
