Trouble with 2nd audio track

Hey guys,

i'm very confused.
Since yesterday i searched the web without any succes.

I want to create a clip with OBS, that has two separate audio tracks - one from my microphone and one from desktop audio.

There are three possible outcomes:
1) By using streamcoder or FFmpeg AAC i can hear both audios, but they are on the same track.
2) By using all other methods, i can hear just one of them (track 1) or my speaking interrupts the desktop sound. In both cases sometimes two tracks are recorded, but on both is the same audio.
3) While just recording one of the two audios (with the same settings) i can hear this one without any problems.

For me it looks like i did everything like all instructions says. Can you help me?

Here are some Screenshots from my settings.

Thanks a lot,
maxed97

There is probably nothing wrong. Your config is fine and will write your audio source to track 1 and your mic to track 2. Media players will never mix multiple audio tracks. It's correct you hear just one track at the same time. You can switch between tracks in the media player. Multiple audio tracks are for postprocessing: it enables you to postprocess the tracks separately, then you're supposed to mix them and replace the 2 distinct tracks in the video with the mixed track.

Hi koala,
thanks for your respond.

I forgot to write that i tried to use the results in adobe premiere rush (free version) or DaVinci resolve (also free).
In both cases, the audiotrack was identically...
