Trouble Getting Auto Replay to Play Newest Saved Buffer Recording

I'm using OBS for a golf simulator to record face impact on a golf ball. I can get OBS to save a clip of an impact and for replay to automatically replay a clip that it has saved in its source. But I can't seem to get OBS to automatically identify and play the NEWEST clip; rather, it always plays the same clip it is pointed to play. AI has tried writing some bat files to identify the newest saved clips from OBS and overwrite an impact.mp4 file with the newest mp4 saved clip so OBS will play the newest correct file. But that has not worked for me. I'm at a loss as to how to proceed. Any thoughts as to how to solve this problem?

Will the Source Record plugin fix my issue and allow me to automatically play the newest file that will be created from each peddle press after hitting the golf ball? I can't get OBS to find the newest file for automatic replay, so maybe Source Record is the solution?

I'm told (true or not?) that the newest versions of OBS and Source Record CANNOT run an instant replay automatically of the most recent clip EACH TIME of face impact on the golf ball. It doesn't recognize the newest file each time and play it automatically (only same old file is played instead of the newest one each time after hotkeys.) But I was told that OBS 29.1.3 and Source Record 0.3.2 ZIP (both older version) together used to be able to do what I'm looking for. (True or NOT I don't know)

Yet, after install of both of them, inside the data folder of Source Record 0.3.2, I am told that I should see:
filter.json
source-record.effect
source-record.png
locale\
but the problem is that I only see the locale folder and it won't work properly without these other missing files. I have no clue why they don't appear after installing the plugin or even trying fresh installs. I have been at this for so long now and I hate to give up on this and really need some help.
