"Trim" in Media Source please

Good day all,
May I request that in Media Source [Properties], along side "Speed", which is cool btw, we have additional controls to select 'Start' and 'End' time points for playing the Local File?
Perhaps sliders along with numeric type boxes where you can directly modify the [hour:minute:second:frame]?

Sometimes we only need to play a section of a video but have to use a NLE to perform the necessary trim before importing in to OBS.

I'm a new user of OBS and have just added a media source...all good, however I was surprised to discover that I am not able to trim the source so that it only plays a particular part of the file. I did a Google search and only found the above forum post about it, from 3 years ago. Surely there is a solution?

I imagine that something like a way to mark IN and OUT points would work well.

Is there a solution within OBS that I've not discovered or maybe a plug-in that I've not found? Any help is much appreciated.

Found this through a search, I'd like to "second" this request!! This would be a HUGE benefit and time saver for those of us who use video media sources.
Otherwise I have to open it in Adobe Premiere and trim off 2 seconds at the end of the video which is a lot of extra work for something as simple as having "in" and "out" points in OBS.
