Question / Help Transparent windows help?

I am planning on getting back into streaming I was wondering what settings to use and I also need help with cropping and making some of my captured windows have transparent backgrounds my specs are:
nvidia gtx 650
AMD Athlon(TM) II X2 245 Processor 2.5 GHz I believe but I could be wrong
Windows 7
8 gigs of DDR3 ram i believe

...then - base and output 1280x720@25-30fps, ffmpeg custom output, mpegts, mpeg2 25000 video + 160 audio; color space 709, range partial. About 30% of CPU by both cores depending on input. The streaming (at decent level of quality) almost impossible.

can you elaborate on the setting I am new to obs so i dont know what all of these settings that your talking about are

1280x720 (in both fields)

Mode: Advanced

Recording tab
Type: Custom Output (FFmpeg)
Output to File
Container Format: mpegts
Video Bitrate: 25000
Video Encoder: mpeg2
Audio Bitrate: 160​

Settings>Advanced Settings

YUV Color Space: 709
YUV Color Range: Partial​

This settings allows only 1 audio track and will use about 30% of your CPU load depending on content you recording. If you capturing games run them at 1280x720 with VSync ON or FPS cap to 30. This is the best all I know that you can get from mentioned PC. If your video card shipped with NVIDIA encoder (NVENC) then you can try it in Recording tab settings (Type: Standard , Encoder field).

After applying, what you said, it works on chrome tab but still it doesn't record powerpoint presentation.
