I created a screencast using OBS and it worked very well. It was easy to unclick the sources and carry on. It would be a nice addition to have a library of transitions, delays, etc. we could apply as we turn on and off source choices.
Yes! Custom transitions and such are something we can do with the new version, though it's still a work in progress. It'll be a while before such things are completely in.
