Transitioning between Profiles

Good evening all. I am digging more and more into OBS and I am wondering if there is a way to transition between profiles while streaming.

my main stream is 1920x1080 however I am getting ready to also start streaming in 1080x1920. So I know that you can only have (1) canvas size per profile, but is there a way to assign the profile to scene collections? That way when I transition from Collection A Scene George to Collection B Scene Frank it changes the canvas size?

Please tell me where a stream provider will accept a change in video layout (orientation in your case) mid-stream? Doesn't mean it doesn't exist, but I'm not aware of such.. Makes no sense to me due to technical implications on viewer...

The typical approach that I'm aware of is to end stream/video, then start with new settings

if you don't find a simple answer to your question, some automation in AdvSS may help. Personally, if a Scene Collection is dependent on/specifically for a given canvas orientation, I'd be inclined to include a reference to such in the Scene Collection Name

@Lawrence_SoCal so, TikTok can change the orientation on the fly while in stream. You can change from landscape to portrait mode.
