Transition problem

I have a problem with transition. When I move between scenes it works great unless I have a Lua script in it. I can advance the script 3 times and then I am unable to transition to the next scene. It will let me finish the script but I am stuck in that scene. To get transition back I have to restart OBS. HELP!

Is there another plug in beside Lua script that will not hang transition? I need it to show song lyrics at the bottom of the screen.
