My OBS Windows installation for a church has a Transition button issue with Image Slide Show. Using the Studio Mode, (1) I click on the scene containing a single Image Slide Show source, (2) and then push the Transition button to move it from Preview to Program. This works just like it should: the source transfers to Program.
I have the right and left cursors tied to this Image Slide Show source in Hotkeys, so that I can advance the slides using the cursors. Once the source is in Program, I use the right cursor button to advance the slides. The 1st and 2nd slide advances as normal, but when I try to advance the 3rd slide, the Transition button goes gray. It stays gray after that point, no matter what source type I try to run (Video Capture Device, Media Source, etc.) The only recovery mechanism seems to be taking OBS out of Studio mode and then putting back in.
To be more specific, the issue is not really tied to the 3rd JPG slide in the stack, just the 3rd time that the slides are advanced. So I can start with the 5th slide in the stack upon entry into the Image Slide Show source, and then Transition grays out on when I reach the 8th slide.
This issue seems very repeatable with a variety of Image Slide Show sources running my JPG files. I do notice that it can be avoided by doing steps (1) and (2) above and then choosing another source for Preview immediately before advancing any slides. With a different source in Preview, the issue does not happen while advancing slides.
I have a screenshot video I can submit if required (about 40 Mbit)
