Transition button gets grayed out going through slideshow.

This issue started after 29.0.2.
Summary:
After transitioning to a scene with a camera and a slideshow after several slides the Transition button gets grayed out.
Detail:
In Studio Mode, right side is a slideshow with Starting Soon info, left side is a scene with among other things, a camera and slideshow.
Transition to the scene with a camera and a slideshow.
Three-dot menu next to Transition is outlined as in in-focus.
Right-arrow for next slide, the plus-sign button below the three-dot menu is in focus.
Right-arrow for next slide, the focus moves off the plus-sign button but not apparent where.
Right-arrow for next slide, all buttons are grayed out except the three-dot menu and the plus-sign menu.
Click Studio mode to get out to Studio mode and then again to get back to Studio mode, buttons are back.

Workaround is after Transition, mouse-click in the Preview pane and that prevents the problem.

The "T-bar" (special "transition bar") is moved by the next Right-arrow (after the two hits). So, kind of "transition started" but not yet complete state in OBS. Was like this before v29, but many moons ago threshold of the T-bar value for the "transition started" was higher or so.

Edit: the mouse click in the Preview just moves the focus from the transition controls.

Correct, and once the focus moves from the Transition controls all is well. Something after 29.0.2 kept the focus in the transition controls.
