I would love some way to set up transitions, maybe with custom video files?

Ya, I can absolutely create video files with alpha channels, I just need a way to insert the transition.

If I could set up some transition on every scene, it could use the transition on the scene to transition in. you know what I mean?

Of course, you just add the video on top of everything in the scene you want the transition to appear, thats it

Ok so if you overlay a movie on a scene and switch to it it will restart the video? And only play it once? So if I put a 2 second video on a scene and switch to that scene, the video will play and then not restart?

There's an option on the plugin, but is not gapless
