I've been using OBS for a long time and have switched from recording desktop audio to application-specific audio a few months ago due to some sound popping issues I have experienced before. Recently I noticed that when I record, my audio is always torn/jagged for a second or two between 2:00-4:00 minutes in and no matter how long the video is, it does not occure anywhere after. OBS does not detect any dropped frames or encoding issues, stuff I hear in my headphones "live" sounds perfectly clear. This does not happen when I stream. What would be the cause of this? How to get rid of it? Should I reinstall the program? I have attached logs in case someone can find anything concerning in them.
Not sure if it matters but I had both OBS and my audio devices set to 16bit 48khz, now I changed it to 44.1 and see if it makes a difference however I doubt it since the crackling/tearing happens in almost static time frame.
