I'm not one to update software that's working fine for me. However, I recently let OBS update and I'm really sorry that I did.
My headset is a Sennheiser 363D. It's a headset that when the mic is in the up position, it's disengaged.
This is what my levels look like with the mic disengaged. Needless to say, there is a LOT of noise. When I tell Windows to not allow OBS access to my microphone, it goes away. Oh and this image is with the noise suppression filter ON (+40 dB).
This was not happening before. I've made no changes to my hardware. Can anybody help me with this?
