Hey guys! Been using your program for a while and I love it. Keep up the awesome work! Also, I used the search function to see if anyone has asked this question before, I apologize if they have.
I'm wondering if there is a way to "toggle" the save to file function, or if this could possibly be a function for a later build? To clarify, I don't want to have to record my entire stream to a local file because I usually do so for 4-6 hours at a time, so this is a substantial file being created. I'd like to be able to just record specific moments during my stream. It would be nice to be able to press a button and start recording to a local file, then stop it while continuing my stream. Having to restart my stream every time isn't optimal, considering the bits I'm recording are usually unexpected moments I'm trying to capture.
Xsplit has a similar model for local recording on their program and I know being able to do this would definitely convert those users. At the moment, I'm just re-recording my Twitch broadcasts with FRAPS to capture the exact moment I want, but this adds a lot of extra time to editing.
I hope this makes sense. Please let me know if you need clarification.
Thank you!
