I'm using a LGP to capture camera, and Elgato GCHD for Slides/Presenter's laptop. Presenter's laptop is VGA out into a VGAto HDMI scaler, which is hooked to the LGP. I noticed it seem to forget the time offset if the video signal was lost. To test, I made the extreme offset of 12668ms "Use Buffing"
Looks like it maxes at 8sec, but that is ok. Results were as expected as seen in the next screen shot:
Then I pulled the VGA cable out of the scaler (presenter's laptop is a 2nd laptop in the test, just in case it was a local video card issue, not doing any soft of loop back) and all of a sudden the the "use buffer" offset does not seem to be happening.
Ideas on why? I'm guessing it is a to where "Use Buffering" is lost if a signal is lost? Thanks.
