Third USB webcam doesn't work

good morning everyone...as per the title I have problems on obs with the third usb webcam...on windows 10 all three work but on obs only the first two. the third always has a black screen. can i kindly know which one might be the problem?
obs version 30.0.2 64 bit
pc Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.39 GHz

How many free USB ports you have in your PC?

And maybe OBS log-file will shed a light on what is happening.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

Log needed because there can be message that device already in use by some other program (Discord, Skype etc).

this is a PC that I use exclusively for my live streaming on mixcloud. there is no other software installed for audio video sharing. I still have 3 free USB ports but in none of them it works with obs... on windows it sees them all and three but not on obs and I don't understand if the problem is the computer or the software

1. you need to post your OBS Studio log as noted above (per pinned post in this forum)
2. are all 3 webcams the exact same make/model? if yes, see many threads on poorly written drivers and firmware which are often the problem

You can see all 3 webcams, at full resolution, simultaneously in Windows? Or you can see each camera, 1 at a time? if the later, that isn't a good test. qhobbes post is something you will likely need to follow to test (the number of USB ports on the pc is NOT the issue, the bandwidth and power design is)
