Question / Help There's no "Disable Direct3D Compatibility Mode" option

Hello

I've been wanting to try out OBS as an alternative to xsplit, but I'm having the issue where it won't launch because of the "Could not create D3D device and swap chain" error. I had heard that a solution to this could be to disable direct3d compatibility mode in the advanced settings, but the option doesn't appear in my settings. This is what my settings window looks like: http://i.imgur.com/SmGaFDK.png

Is there a reason the option wouldn't be there? Is there something I need to do to make it appear?

Thanks.

Hi!

OBS uses a number of DirectX 10 features to render the stream, it's not possible to use with a video card that doesn't support those features.

That was an old feature that now happens automatically. If you get the swap chain thing, it already tried to use compatibility mode, and it still failed regardless
