When I enable my focusrite interface for the mic there is about a 1 second delay before the noise comes out the speaker. Any suggestions?

Then why are we able to adjust our latency in music recording software to solve this problem? I'm having a real hard time trying to solve this problem in OBS Studio myself.

There is 2 possible solutions to your issue:
1. Enable "direct monitoring" on your audio interface (make sure your headphones are connected directly to the interfaces headphones out)
2. Use something like voicemeeter with a ridiculously low sample buffersize e.g. 256 samples tops (only recommended if your PC is up tp the task, also, voicemeeter is a beast of it's own to configure properly)
