I've been streaming with OBS for a couple of months now, and I keep running into the same problem. Whenever I stream with friends and we use a system to chat while streaming, they are so quiet it's not even something viewers can comprehend.
The game is turned really low, They are loud to me, as I have them boosted through the program itself, however they are just almost silent. I haven't found a way to capture just the chat system we are using, which is Steams built in voip service.
