The sound of my Discord echoes when I record or stream on OBS

Hello everyone!
Very recently and suddenly, my discord sound started to echo on obs in my recordings and stream. I can hear it perfectly well in my headphones, but the voices on discord echo on OBS.
I don't understand where the problem comes from: is it the obs sound capture, a problem coming from discord?
If you have more information or if you have already had this problem, please help me!
Thanks

If the audio sounds like an echo, it could be because Discord is going into OBS twice, just slightly delayed. This could be causing this effect. But without more specific info about your audio settings, how you've routed your audio sources, or if you have a monitor device, it will be difficult to help.
Send some screenshots of your audio sources, the advanced audio properties and Discord settings, maybe they will help.

My guess for now would be: you are adding Discord via an audio source in OBS. On that audio source, you have your headphones selected as a monitor device so you listen to Discord through OBS. But your headphones are also stored as a separate audio source in OBS (e.g.: your desktop sound) and thus Discord is heard twice (once directly through the Discord sound source and once through your headphones).

But this is only a guess, the problem can also be in a completely different place. Please give us more info :D

Hello, thank you for your quick response! Currently, I use an application audio output capture to get the sound from my Discord separately (I also do it for my music and games). That's all I do to get my sound.
Do you need more screenshots?
