The question is addressed to the author of the obs

I tried everything possible and found no reason for the regular video stuttering (. Window capturing regularly stutters every 6 minutes for 20 seconds. Why is this happening?
Game capture is supported even more often.
Here is a test video recorded in obs through window capture. Time code of the start and end of stuttering: 3:05 to 3:25 and so regularly (.

1. upscale 1080P to 1440
2. 1440 at 60 FPS on GTX 1060
3.26.000 ? use Quality mode

1. Makes useless more Workload
2. is Alone heavy workload for the 1060
3. ~

even more load on the card and the "free" space go smaller
simply every event that requires gpu "workload" can affect a 100% usage of one of multiple bottlenecks
this is not a "problem" its a default design issue that every use of nvenc handle with every day if you try to use more then capacity is there

With any parameters and any resolution, the problem is exactly the same (
Loading when recording from a browser is 32%. And 1080 has the same problem with a friend!

Thank you for sharing this video test website, which was unknown for me until now. It's great to see a perfect visualization of different video issues with its correct terminology (smooth, stutter, microstutter, etc.).

Sorry for not being the author of obs.

Not being the author of OBS, I would say you have to live with this. It's an extremely complicated matter to exactly synchronize the creation of a frame by some app, the capturing of this frame by OBS and the writing of this frame to the video with correct timestamp, while being restricted to a constant fps number corset such as 60. It's the matter of microsecond timing, not millisecond. And the same thing within the media player. I don't know, if it's technically possible to get the accuracy required down to the microsecond constantly over the course of a whole video.

On my machine, I was able to get best results (although even here not 100% stutter-free over a period of minutes) with fixed 60 fps on monitor and video, vsync on, gsync off. As soon as I changed to anything better (100, 120 or 144 fps, gsync on), there was always some kind of stutter involved sooner or later. Not constantly, but every once in a while.
And it's great to visualize the stutter introduced if you generate frames with 144 fps but record with 60. Or if you play a 144 fps video on a 60 fps monitor.

При любых параметрах и любом разрешении проблема точно такая же (
Загрузка при записи из браузера 32%. И у 1080 такая же проблема с другом!

А игра куплена или пиратка?

It's a shame that the author of the program does not see the defect. Checked with 9 people. And everyone has the same bad (
