I wanted to stream The Operative: No One Lives Forever, but am having trouble. I can't get game capture to work with it, and I tried using dgVoodoo 2 as well. Window capture works, but only with dgVoodoo 2. Without it, the OBS preview freezes and the bitrate goes to 0 and disconnects within 30 seconds. The same thing happens if only doing a local recording. With dgVoodoo2 Window Capture it recorded locally, but I ran out of time to test streaming. I have a problem with the mouse not working in menus after alt tabbing/the game losing focus, but that is not related to OBS.

I can manage with dgVoodoo2 + Window Capture and use the keyboard to navigate menus, but I wanted to ask if anyone had any ideas or experience with older games that might help.

I'm not sure which method to use to provide a log file, especially if Game Capture isn't hooking at all. This is on Windows 7 x64.

Sorry for necroposting, but I too am having issues capturing this game for a stream. Can anyone suggest a remedy?

I'd like to play it using it's original renderer (DirectX 8) and not dgVoodoo2. The problem I am having is that OBS fails to capture the game, despite using game capture, specifying the window name and stuff.
