When I did a super simple thing in OBS: 2 scenes, with each a video and audio capture, OBS seems to work great!
Now I have multiple scenes and when I switch between them a short LOUD sound peak of one of the audio inputs is heard.
For exampla: Mike 1 is attached to Scene 1 and Scene 2.
In scene 1 it's a dry sound. In scene 2 it's just some reverb added.
In scene 1 the sound level is good. In scene 2 the same (only with reverb).
But when I switch between the scenes, it's as if the volume is switched up +20dB for a fraction of a second.
So switching between scenes is TERRIBLE and 100% unusable.
What I also see is that during this peak (= instantly after switching a scene) hidden VU-meters in the audio mixer become visible.
They flash on and off. And during this flash the +20dB peak occurs.
WTF is this?
And then another issue. When I exit OBS, shut down the computer and start it up next day, the audio settings 'sound' completely different. The settings themselves are the same, but some channels are much louder than before. Other channels are barely hearable.
I'm not sure but I'getting more and more the idea that OBS is really just a super simple toy, that cannot be used for serious work.
Or am I mistaken?
