the black screen problem again

I have used OBS for a number of months without issues, but after the most recent Windows 10 update (early October 2020) I get the black screen when trying to capture the display (my main use of OBS). I followed the various tips given on the main OBS site and also here on the forum yo fix this, but unfortunately without success. I also installed the newest version of OBS, but so far no luck. Would be grateful for some help on this - as indicated above, this must be a very recent Windows issue.
 
I think specifying the solutions you already have tried will help us help you.

I dont know what methods you have already tried but try researching about hardware acceleration in relation to OBS. It unables OBS to properly capture your screen.

Im not a pro but try considering what I've said. Hopefully this helps.
