Question / Help The Black Screen Issue

So, some of my games (But not all of them) give me the "Black Screen" issue.
I have selected the game with Game Capture, and it never works. It only works on Desktop Capture.
But I don't want that. It's bad performance.

The three logs are, UT2004 , World of Warships beta, World of Warships Beta (Aero Disabled under Options/Video)

Other games work fine. Mechwarrior Online, or War Thunder, for example. Or the old Homeworld 2.

Window capture seems to drop performance really badly, also my chats and other things show up in the window.

Enable aero, you mean in the OBS settings? Or windows? I wonder why the black screen happens for some games and not for others.
It's like it doesn't hook up to the game properly.

I would honestly consider upgrading to 7 or 8.1. this also gives you a free update to 10 when it comes out. not that this will fix anything but I will say, Win8.1 has the least amount of issues with streaming and windows 7 is not far behind.
