Bug Report Texture Map failure

Well, I've been having this quite often with CIV6.
I used the classic OBS before and am currently considering, moving back or to a completely different solution since this is really annoying.

I did update my graphics card driver (Gforce 760)
I tried x264 and NVEC encoding
same result.

What does that error actually mean?

That error does not happen in studio. Why are you posting in the studio section of the forums?

The error message means exactly what it says: Your video card or driver froze and was reset.

Are you using Windows 10? If so, then this is likely what is happening to you. In short, update to OBS Studio for a built-in workaround, or use one of the other workarounds listed in that thread while we all wait for Nvidia to fix their drivers.

If you're not on the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, you should take your issue to the OBS Classic section of the forums. When you do, read this and make sure to include logs.
