Hi, one of those again. :/ Before I rant about my problems,
Here are my PC specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Superclocked
Mobo: ASRock H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150
PSU: Corsair CX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 2x4GB (8GB)
Memory: 1TB Seagate Barracuda
OS: Windows 10 (I do not have prior versions, Windows 10 was the default OS, and I also hear Windows 10 can be incompatible with OBS sometimes)
I stream on Twitch.tv, if needed; I will PM my twitch channel and you may view the content, I only stream L4D2. I know I don't have a great build for streaming, but it seemed fine for the first 2 months streaming until I got the Texture Map Failed error. It's been happening for a few days and decided to post about it. I don't really understand the logs to be honest, and maybe someone could dumb it down for me (it is in the reply below), I just stream. ;-;
Also, these are all NEW parts. I built the PC 2 months ago and started streaming a few days later. None of these parts are from existing builds and all just came out of their packages.
I have read and tried many solutions.Some solutions I did not try due to fear of the unknown, the list includes:
( starting with R1CH's post: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/texture-map-error-read-this-first.29014/ )
• Installing latest drivers
• Downgrading to older revisions of drivers
• Checked for overheating - My GPU only hovers around 40-50c, and uses 40% fan speed
• My GPU is pre-overclocked and not sure how to underclock it
• I only use one monitor
• I have not tried raising my GPU voltage
• "(Advanced users - at your own risk!) Modify the TdrDelay setting in the registry to give the GPU more time to respond before crashing. See https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff569918(v=vs.85).aspx for details." - Not sure what this means ;-;
• I have a 750W power supply so I assume that is not the issue.
• I have not tried using another GPU
( Other things I have tried or have been mentioned to do, and have not done )
• Resetting OBS configurations
• Uninstalling OBS and reinstalling (I noticed I had more of these Texture Map Failures when I updated to v0.658b, so I am now starting to stream in v0.657b, I am not sure if it's a coincidence or not >.<)
• Checked Direct X, it is at Direct 12
• Updated Windows 10
• And the last thing I do not want to do is to uninstall my graphics driver as I've heard people have had problems when restarting PC, it did not find the latest drivers and malfunctioned.
I appreciate any comments or solutions, sorry for the really long post but I tried to keep it in-depth as possible to minimize questions and confusions. If there happens to be any questions, I will try to answer.
