Question / Help Text layer from online source

Hi,
I'm looking after a solution where I can post content to the streamer via an online refreshable way.
Theoretially I have more than one streamer for my channel and I want to make a field for their streams where I can post stuff like: next stream starts in 10minutes. Or we have a new post on Facebook. So refreshable stuff for them what they can include and I don't have to care who streams actually but I can control the content of that field.
I tried to find solution, but failed.
Do you know anything that can do this with OBS?

OBS can't pull text from an online source, but if you had a program that regularly downloaded a text file to your computer, overwriting the old one, that would probably work.

Do you think it's a possible way to create a plugin for the app with such feature? We ask some fellow coder to do it for us. The community maybe will find this useful also.

If anything, it would be added to the existing Text source, not as a separate plugin. But I don't know if that's planned.

Making a separate little utility to repeatedly download a file sounds like less work than creating a new plugin.
