Hello.. I, using Hp Omen (12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H 2.30 GHz)
I recently acquired this laptop and I've been tryiong to use it for streaming purposes, but my sound qualityu is extreemly bad.
I've never experienced the problem. My ayudio input isn't clear.. But when I play desktop audio it works so well.
Below are several links of some of my inconvinienced streams

Anyone know what the problem is?

My recommendation - start outside OBS
ie - Fresh boot computer, and test Audio Input/Recording using Native Operating System (OS) tools. How does that sound? if something the matter, you need to address at driver/hardware level first. Only after you have microphone working properly at OS layer, should you move onto OBS Studio.

then when requesting support, be sure to follow guidance in pinned posts in this forum.. specifically regarding posting OBS Studio log from a recording/streaming session

Drop "noise cancelling/reduction" filters out of your OBS audio filter section.
If there aren't such there, then have a look into your windows audio settings. DIsable all kind of "audio enhancements enabled" or such alike in the advanced audio device settings.

Todays computers are prepared with default settings for filtering audio (goal: clear conference calls, video meetings et al.) Hence heavy filtering is enabled by default these days. That's what makes your pastors singing so terrible.

I haven't put in any "noise cancelling/reduction" filters... Lemme check if there are any
Thanks for the feedback
