Question / Help Terrible connectivity to twitch servers.. anything I can do to improve it?

Started getting a lot of lag streaming to twitch servers recently from the Bay Area with Xfinity..

I streamed to Mixer for 3.5 hours just to get a control and isolate Twitch as the issue. Twitch certainly appears to be the issue. Is there anything I can do on my end to improve the connectivity between me and twitch?

Anybody that may have the same issue.. I just used restream to stream to twitch.. My home just cant talk to twitch servers so i used restream as a relay. Temp fix

Something is wrong with your internet connection, or you're using dialup. I doubt its Twitch because if every Twitch ingest was having problems, the internet streaming community would be on fire.

IDK.. it works fine now. May have been internet connection. But literally 20 min after having these issues with twitch I did a 5 hours "replay" stream on mixer (basically i just let it go playing past broadcasts i had saved on my hard drive" at the same bitrate and had 0 issues. I dont think there was an issue with Twitch specficially.. just how my internet was talking to the twitch servers somewhere along the way.

So the solution for me was to talk to the restream servers, and let the restream servers talk to the twitch servers relaying what I was giving to the restream servers. It worked out. As of this morning my numbers for Quality are 80 and above so who knows. All good either way.
