Question / Help Tech Requirements

Hello

I want to start to use OBS to Stream my DJ sets. Im looking to buy a Refurbished Computer. What would people suggest I buy given the Tech I need to run OBS.
Either a Laptop or Tower computer, not too bothered. Budget is £300

You'll want to go with a tower as they're significantly less expensive, and are able to be upgraded to meet the needs of streaming. Laptops should be avoided if possible.
Look for a semi-modern i5, preferably a 5000-series or newer. No i3 or lower, and no AMD APUs. Simply too anemic to be useful.
8GB RAM minimum, prefer 16.

You'll likely need to buy the GPU new; if you pick up an nVidia GTX 1660, or 1650 Super (NOT the non-super or Ti!) you'll be in a good spot as the hardware NVENC encoder on those will handle the heavy lifting quite well. You might be able to get away with a GTX 1050, but the quality of the video will be lower (the older NVENC revision on the 10-series is a number of steps worse-quality compression). Nothing older than that, and avoid AMD GPUs like the plague.
