TASCAM and OBS is not picking up

I have connected my 2nd laptop (OBS) to my tascam 2x2 from my mixer. I can hear the music coming out of the tascam via headphones but it's not being picked up by OBS. I have checked my stream rate on OBS laptop and OBS program both set to 48. Monitor is set to off yet OBS is not picking up the sound coming from my DJ mixer to OBS program on 2nd laptop. Please help.
 
I am just guessing from a quick look at the Tascam 2x2 manual online, but assume you have a USB cable from Tascam 2x2 to OBS laptop. Select something like Tascam US-2x2 as device in OBS Settings/Audio/Global Audio Devices/Mic/Auxiliary Audio. Adust Mic/Aux slider in Audio Mixer. Good Luck
 
Do you see the device in OBS but no sound? Right drivers? I use a PreSonus StudioLive 32 via USB and the correct driver was important.
 
Page 5 of the Tascam manual says USB power may not be sufficient. You might try using an external 5V supply. I realize I am probably just guessing everything you have already tried.
